  • Yes! Downtown Dental is happily welcoming new patients ages 6 and up throughout Northwest Arkansas. You can book online or call us at (479) 636-4771 to schedule your first visit.

  • Book anytime through our online scheduler, or call (479) 636-4771 during office hours (Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–3:00pm). We’ll find a time that works for you and answer any questions before you arrive.

  • Your first visit typically includes a comprehensive exam, any needed X-rays, and a conversation about your goals and concerns. Dr. Shelby Esry will review your dental health with you and, together, you’ll build a plan that fits your needs, timeline, and budget — no pressure.

  • Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card (if you have dental insurance), a list of any medications you take, and any recent dental records or X-rays if you’re transferring from another office. Arriving a few minutes early to complete paperwork is helpful.

  • We care for patients ages 6 and up, from school-age children to grandparents.

New Patients & Appointments

  • We accept most major insurances and file your claims for you. We’re a preferred provider for BlueCross BlueShield, Connection Dental Network, Delta Dental PPO, Delta Dental Premier, GEHA, United Concordia, and UNUM. Not sure about your plan? Call us at (479) 636-4771 and we’ll verify your coverage before your visit.

  • No insurance? No problem. We offer an in-house membership plan — a 12-month discounted plan that covers your routine care and includes 20% off additional treatment not covered by the plan. It’s not insurance, so there are no claims, waiting periods, or deductibles. You can join at any time, and it renews every 12 months. Call (479) 636-4771 to enroll.

  • We offer four plans so you only pay for the care you need: Non-Perio — $413.09/year: two routine cleanings, two fluoride treatments, all exams, all X-rays. Perio Maintenance — $674.10/year: four periodontal maintenance cleanings, all exams, all X-rays. Deep Cleaning I — $1,314.10/year: four areas of limited periodontal deep cleaning, four periodontal maintenance cleanings, all exams, all X-rays. Deep Cleaning II — $1,474.10/year: four areas of periodontal deep cleaning, four periodontal maintenance cleanings, all exams, all X-rays. Every plan also includes 20% off additional treatment.   • Yes. We accept CareCredit and Sunbit financing, which let you spread the cost of treatment into manageable monthly payments. We’ll help you find an option that works for your budget.

  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, plus CareCredit and Sunbit financing.

  • Downtown Dental provides comprehensive care in one place, including: Cleanings, exams, and preventive care; Fillings, crowns, and bridges; Dentures and partials (crafted in our in-house lab); Implant crowns and restorations; Cosmetic dentistry — veneers, bonding, and teeth whitening; Custom night guards for teeth grinding; Emergency dental care for toothaches and pain; Membership plan for uninsured patients.

  • Yes — and it sets us apart. We have an in-house dental lab, so your dentures, partials, and night guards are crafted right here, typically ready in about a week rather than the longer waits common when work is sent to an outside lab. The result is a better fit, easier adjustments, and care that stays under one roof.

  • We restore dental implants in-house — crafting and placing the implant crown that completes your new tooth. For the surgical placement of the implant itself, we’ll refer you to a trusted local specialist, then handle your restoration so your care comes back home to us.

  • Absolutely. We offer teeth whitening, veneers, and cosmetic bonding to brighten, reshape, and restore your smile. Schedule a consultation and Dr. Esry will talk through the options that fit your goals.

  • Yes, we offer professional teeth whitening for noticeably brighter results than over-the-counter kits. Ask us which option is right for you.

  • Yes. We make custom night guards in our in-house lab to protect your teeth from grinding (bruxism) and ease jaw tension — typically ready in about a week.

  • You’re not alone, and we get it. Downtown Dental is known for a relaxed, gentle, judgment-free experience, and we go at your pace. For patients who need a little extra help relaxing, we offer laughing gas (nitrous oxide) and can provide prescription anti-anxiety medication for your appointment. Just let us know about any anxiety when you book and we’ll make a plan to keep you comfortable.

Services & Treatments

  • Yes. If you have a toothache, pain, broken or knocked-out tooth, lost filling or crown, or swelling, call us right away at (479) 636-4771 — we do our best to see emergency patients as soon as possible during office hours (Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–3:00pm).

  • Severe tooth pain or any persistent dental pain, a knocked-out or broken tooth, significant swelling, bleeding that won’t stop, a lost crown or filling, or an injury to your mouth. When in doubt, call (479) 636-4771 and we’ll advise you.

  • Pick the tooth up by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and if possible place it back in the socket or keep it in milk. Then call us immediately at (479) 636-4771 — time matters for saving the tooth.

Dental Emergencies

  • We’re at 214 S 3rd St, Rogers, AR 72756, on the corner of 3rd & W Poplar in historic downtown Rogers. We have a dedicated parking lot, and street parking is also available out front.
